Prayer
Hey guys,
I was watching the news last night- a young 14 year old girl was mysteriously murdered in a small town outside of Edmonton called Edson. The grandparent of the girl was the Pastor of Lake Cowichan Baptist church that Kirk, Hepting and I attended during Kaleo. He was also on the news outside of the church his son is a pastor at in Edson- this tradgedy is not only affecting the family but the church community in edson, and the whole town for that matter.
Please keep Pastor Hern and his family in your prayers.

Its really sad, she was raped and murdered in broad daylight.
And if you could pray for all of us Brightwood staff. We had the privilage of working with this girl as a jr. Wrangler in the AWP program for a month. So we knew her pretty well. And for those who dont know, Edson is the smallbut trucker stop town on the way to Jasper, EVRYBODY knows everybody so the whole community is shaken and my whole mom's side of the family lives there.

A lot of people from PRBI knew her too, she had worked at Sunnybrae as well, we're definitely keeping her in our prayers especially as her funeral is today.
