Life on the other side of the world....
Kaleo I love you all! No matter the distance or the amount of time we are apart I have realized my heart still holds a lot of love for you all. Kaleo was amazing but I love hearing what has happened in all of your lives since Kaleo. Life is incredible and I can't wait to see where God takes me. I finished my DTS about 2 weeks ago and I am now back in Mongolia for the summer. It has been so good since being back!!! Some highlights have been... going to an orphanage, hanging out with the youth group, being with my family, the mongolian election chaos, and tomorrow I am heading out to the countryside to go backpacking and to share the gospel with nomads! I am so excited! We are going to be gone for the rest of the month. I am not sure if you guys have heard on the news about what has been happening with the elections here but it has been kinda crazy! It all started with the communists winning a huge majority of the parliament seats which was/is impossible so the election was definitely rigged. In response to this there was a big riot and the mob burnt down the communist party's building. Hundreds of people were wounded, and hundreds of people were arrested and even a few people died. Our house helper's husband was actually arrested and beaten terribly but the horrible thing was that he was not even part of the mob. He had just finished work and the riot was by where he was working so he came out his building and got arrested. If you think about it please pray for him because he is still in jail. They declared a state of emergency in the city and for 4 days there are no public meetings allowed. For the most part the city looks back to normal besides having tons more police men and soldiers around plus the other day I saw 2 tanks in the streets. So your prayers would be greatly appreciated because nothing has been sorted out yet to what is going to happen with the election results. Anyways... I am loving life and loving God and can't wait to see you all again and talk to you in person!

ps- I would love your prayers for my trip to the countryside as well!
