Update of the Muiks
Hello everyone! Just wanted to give an update on our lives....so here it is! I started back at work just before Riley's 1st birthday. It has been tough. I'm only working 3 days a week, but I work 20 hours and my shifts are from 4:15am-10:30am. I'm back at starbucks, which is not where I want to be, or feel that I am supposed to be, so I applied for a new job for the city. I applied for the customer service representative, which will be working at the front desk at both public pools. I was thinking about going back to lifeguarding, but it would just be too exhausting for a working mom! Plus, it takes up a lot of time outside work that I don't have. Anyway, my old manager was thrilled to have me back so...I got the job! PRAISE THE LORD! I was thinking if I didn't get it, I would probably just cry. I am just finished with working at starbucks. So that is a HUGE blessing. Money isn't everything, but it's 2.5 times the pay of starbucks, so it's nice that I can work a full day once a week and Nick can take a day off and be home with Riley.

Other news.....for those of you who haven't heard via facebook....I'm pregnant again! Another reason to praise the Lord....and also to be terrified! I'm feeling pretty sick and I've already taken a week off work. It's really getting to me, so I'm going to the doc this week to get some drugs to help with the morning sickness/all day sickness. The last few days have been the best, but it's really taken a toll on me so far. (I feel SO out of control, which is probably a good thing. I just can't do the things I normally do or want to do. It's pushed me to God, which is a blessing in disguise.) Anyway, Nick and I are so excited to be adding another addition to the Muik family. I'm so stoked to see Riley be a big brother. I also know it's going to be twice as busy and a lot more challenging for me.
Other than that we are doing well. Riley started walking about 2 weeks ago, and with that comes a lot more work for me and more bruises for Riley! He's doing well though. He looks like a little penguin waddling...I'm just one proud mama!
Well, I gotta go, but if any of you have some cool names, let me know! Oh, I'm due May 6...just thought I'd let ya know.

congrats to the both of you, i can't believe your going to be a mom of two that's soooo amazing and crazy!!!! I'll be praying for you and nick and riley as this next chapter unfolds...
as for cool names there is alwyas mackie lol... i'll keep my ears open for cool names ok well wish you guys all the best
