Update
Hey team!
Wow where do I start?!
So Im married. Being married is rad. It's pretty chill and pretty awesome. Everyone asks me what being married is like. I've put some thought into it and I really think the best way to describe it is simply as doing life together with your best friend. The wedding was great. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It all went smoothly and was rather relaxed which was a blessing...for me haha! From the wedding in NC we took off to the Caribbean. It was amazing to see more of the world especially down that direction. It was a great time to just kick back and relax...we had no idea how exhausted we were from everything! From there we went back to NC for a couple days to hangout with Andrea's family and then back up to BC. From there we moved into our new place. Again, another blessing! It was the week before we were to leave for the wedding and still hadn't found a place to live. We mentioned it to one of the pastors at our church and it turned out that his basement suite had come available the day before, in the perfect location, for a more than decent price. It is great! So rad to have a place to call home and to have awesome landlords. They're just a few years older than us so they are great to go to for advice and just to hangout with. Good times all around. As for what's ahead, we don't really have any huge plans for the summer. I am working for BC Hydro now which has been good. Definitely a different experience than spending the summer at camp but it is a good experience to be apart of a big company etc.
As for prayer requests: please, please pray for Andrea's immigration stuff. We are still waiting on a work permit for her which we think should be here soon but we don't have a definite date. It is definitely a challenge making ends meet on one income but it is absolutely amazing to see how God provides in times of need...true story.
It was great to see some of you a few weeks ago on the Island! Definitely miss you all and have a rather large craving for a Mystic Beach camping trip......just saying.
Talk to you soon,
Downey

Congrats Downey! Many blessings on your marriage. It is the most awesome thing ever... this coming from someone who has now been married over a year! WHAT! Anyways Justin and I were both very upset that we are poor and didn't have the money or the time to come and see you get married, but we know that you know that we were there in spirit. Many blessings, looking forward to the day that we meet again.
Well Boys It looks like I'm the lone ranger
Hey Downey! Congrats on everything! Sounds like you guys are being blessed by God so much! I just wanted to let you know that we know how hard it is to live on one income....having a baby does that! But it totally pushes you to trust God and have FULL faith in Him. I'm not going to lie, it's hard on you, your spouse and your relationship at times, but it IS totally amazing (like you said) on how God pulls you through. I will be praying for you guys and we should totally get together sometime!
Riley's 1st bday is coming up in a month and we're going to have a huge BBQ with friends and family. I'm not sure what day works best yet, but I will keep you posted. It's going to be FUN!
