Home Stretch!!

Yup, it's the home strech for me at PRBI! I'll be graduating this year (probably like a few others of you) with a Bachelor of Religious Education, with a Christian Ministry Major. This year has been amazing, with far too many blessings to count.

I did end up being coach of the women's soccer team, which has been a lot of fun. We're gold-medal contenders (2nd place) in our league (improved a lot!), and we just got sponsored for some sweet jackets, pants, and bags (I just got the sweet 'coach' jacket). Our men's soccer team isn't doing as well, we're 2nd last (and got pummeled last night 22-0, ouch!), but I'm still having a lot of fun on the team... I'm the team's top-scorer too, though I might get moved to defense now cause I think it'll be better for the team.

As you might also remember, I'm the Resident Leader for my floor, and also doing my internship through that. I don't get paid though, unlike the position at Briercrest. That's going really well too, and I've been able to connect a little more with my guys this semester, though my main ministry is taking care of the Care Leaders on my floor. We held a sweet sharing session last week (a lot like Kaleo style), and only God knows what spiritual growth we'll see this semester!

Now I'm looking for what God has for me during the summer and next year. I'm going on the Highest Call (elevate) tour again as a soundman, but the rest has yet to be figured out. There seems to be ample opportunity in Christian ministry right now, so it looks like it'll take some discernment to figure out where God wants me.

Well, that's my update. We'll see if I get out of the Arctic north far enough to meet up with some of you. I trust that God is being faithful in each of your lives, and I eagerly await the day to hear Him say to us, "Good job, good and faithful servants". Until the next time I see you, God bless!
