Get Informed- Save Our Paramedics

Hey Guys- 

For those of you who live in BC- this site is for you! Paramedics in BC are speaking out about our working conditions, and its time for the public to be informed about their emergency service. With an increase in call volumes, decrease in paramedics, and no change in resources (more ambulances and stations) the public is not receiving the service it deserves- in remote areas, some ambulances can take up to 90 minutes to respond! That could be a call from one of your loved ones waiting for emergency service!

Clearly paramedics are not in this line of work for money, but because we love our jobs. Please take a minute to get informed and get involved! You can send a pre-written letter for Premier Gordon Campbell on the site- or contact your local media. You can also look up your community coverage! You never know when you'll need an ambulance.... make sure you have clean underwear on!
