I've always wanted to be a mom

Hello all, so I have some very exciting news...lots of it! First one is.....drum roll.....NICK AND I ARE HAVING A BABY!!! We are so super excited!!! I am due August 8th!! So...big ideas and plans have been made because of this wonderful news. We gave our notice here in Edmonton with jobs and our apartment and we are moving to Vancouver Island....more specifically, Langford. It was so crazy how it happened. We found this cute little basement suite online and applied for it. The lady said that they were having 8 showings this saturday (yesterday) and so it probably wouldn't be available after then. But, God totally showed himself in this situation. I used Jim as one of my character references and as soon as she saw that she called me right away. Why? you ask, well, she used to go to Qwanoes in the late 80's and early 90's. So as we talked on the phone I was getting more pumped because we had this connection even though we never met. She said she was going to talk it over with her husband and 3 hours later she called back and offered us the place! So we will be moving in February 1st. Also, Nick applied for a couple jobs, but she said in that area that he would have no trouble finding a job. As for me, I know I will find something...always do :) So we are not quite sure how we are getting everything out there....we have somewhat of a plan, and oh yeah, finances kinda suck, but actually good came from something bad that happened. (Forgive me if I am all over the place, but I am stoked that I can tell you guys now....I have kept this secret for what seems like forever!) Okay, about a month ago some guy backed into the side of my car. I talked to insurance and because my car is not worth much it was going to be a write off. The guy didn't really want to go through insurance so we settled on an amount. Nick was going to fix the car himself with the money, but then when we decided that it was still driveable and not that much damage was done we figured we'd use the money to help us move. So....all of these little things that have happened, looking back I can see God was totally working, even though I didn't see it at the time. So....I am also stoked because a lot of you live on the island and now I can visit you! Anyway, I will give you more of an update when I know more stuff...for now, I am going to go and have a nap. Talk to you all soon! I heart you all!

Well I'm pretty sure yesterday I was told that the most common name for homosexual men is Jon so I'd probably go with something alittle more stong and manely which by the way is what Andrew means but to more important matters. First off You have to come to saanich it would be wicked. They totally need more young youth leaders too Wes would be so stoked second when are you moving and whats the address cause I live in the area... (not langford) but as close to it as you can get and still being colwood. And the ladies right there are tons of jobs however it dpends what you want to do. Theres like Wlmart Superstore Costco Futureshop umm Rona Homedepot etc. all in basically a five minute distance from each other.

Hey kidd well I looked up halslam and you'll be like a 2 minute drive away or a 15 minute walk. Sweetness now I have someone to go harass and you have a babysitter! But seriously you have to come to Saanich its the bomb.

Oh and Kailey and Amanda or should I say Amadna Mackie is a horrible middle name. It doesn't mean all those things what it means is dumb, lazy, fat, blob of smelly, dirty, grossness!

P.S. I love you both so please don't beat me up when i come to YQ... my junior high girls beat me up every Sunday I don't know if I could take it uif you did too!

Haha, I think Tara has the best argument so far... how do you argue with that?? Even Andrew didn't have anything against that name. But what if it's a guy? Whatever you do, don't name it Jason... while it's a good name, it's probably the most common name for guys ever (at least in the top 10)... and I think your child will be special. (First Kaleo 3 child... maybe first Kaleo child??) :D I'm happy for you guys, best wishes and joyful prayers for you both.

I am soooooo excited for you two!!! YG! But I still think you should move to Michigan instead of BC. Oh, and I think you should name the baby Kelly or Loraine if it is a girl, and Biff or Supper Fly if it is a guy.

I have a definition for Mackie, but this is a family friendly blog.

Jon, Hmmm? That would explain a few things. Ha! Just kidding!

Love ya all,

Craymer

Oh, I almost forgot… The subject of this blog reminded me of the most awkward event of my life. My cousin had a baby last month. Let’s just say Amanda, If you need any help delivering little baby Muick I have more experience than I ever wanted.

P.S. I am going to adopt

Congratulations Nick & Amanda!!!
I'll be praying for your growing family.
Take care, and keep us posted.

P.S. I think you should name your baby "THOR"
(In all capitals).
Nobody would dare mess with THOR.
He (or she) would own the playground!
Just think about it...

Brady...THOR? even for a girl? I think our child would hate us. But I will consider it...got any other good ones? Oh and Charissa, I love pregnant bellies as well....I keep thinking it's getting bigger, but Nick says I'm crazy. Soon I hope though...:)

My best Michigan buddy Audry has an older brother who named his three boys; Thor, Vladimir, and Conan. Who does that?

Charissa I don't hink you want to hear about my horrific experience in the delivery room. I personally have just stopped having nightmares about it and would prefer not to arouse any more of those dreadful visions.

- Craymer Out!

BABY MUICK!!!
AHHHHHH congratulations you cute couple!!! I miss you two tons!! Maybe you should just go for cliché and name the kid Kaléo.

Although i witnessed dave's camper thor and he was crazy.

I've always thought of naming my kid anonymous cause then he/she would get all the credit for everything that no one ever did. never mind that's a bad idea.

Congratulations again.

Hey Amanda and Nick! We are speechlessly exited at the Big Q that you are moving to Victoria and that there will soon be three of you! It's obvious that the first Kaleo baby should be named... Kaleo! It is a fairly common name in Hawaii, and we are close enough. Let us know if we can help move you in or warm your house for you.

Jen, having been the catcher for Danny I agreed with every feeling you own about the experience. I wonder if you have the easier job, Amanda! Catching is a little freaky. But miraculous at the same time. Nick, you will be okay!

Just outta curiosity and in true Andre fashion was this like a "pleasant surprise" or planned incident?

Andrew, I am shocked that you asked that....but not really....it's you! So anyway, Nick and I were "pleasantly suprised"...That wasn't our first reaction, but the next day we were SO stoked to become parents!
