Hey All

Sorry it has been so long since I blogged. I have no excuse so I won't even try. Ok so yah, I am living in a little mining town in the mountains outside of San Diego, California now. I am working at a boarding school for troubled girls. Most of the girls that come through our system have been abused, struggle with addictions, or just have absolutely no discipline. I am kind of a mix between a dean, teacher and a corrections officer. I don't know how else to explain it. It is a good organization and it not only works with students, but we also require parents/guardians to take classes as well. It is real learning experience and I know this is where God wants me now. It is through Teen Rescue if you would like to look it up (www.teenrescue.com).

The area is nice/dry and there are a lot of fires. A few weeks ago we had to evacuate but we are back now. The evacuation was great. On the way down the mountain we passed hundreds of firefighters and the sun was blotted out by the smoke. Thankfully it didn't burn down the town of Julian where I am living. Definite plus. So that is about it. I bought a surfboard a few weeks ago and I plan on being a poser for a while. If anyone would like to join me I would love the company. Well I heart you all and miss you ever so much. If you are ever in the area, don't hesitate to look me up. :)

I miss you sister, you are too Rad!
The thought of you working with those girls warms my heart! That sounds like an amazing place that God's brought you to! Aww, Soooo good!!!
I don't know how to express it in words: I'm so glad after reading your post, You will be so Good with those girls. I couldn't imagine a more perfect dean/teacher/corrections officer, not even if I tried really hard (and I have a pretty good imagination).
That's too cool. Feel free to share stories of how God's using you there! I know there will be many, and I would Love to hear some!

(I'm using alot of intentional exclamation points, cuz that seems the most accurate punctuation right now)

As for the surfing...
You poser! Go get good.
then when I go on my next Cali surf trip you can give me some tips so that I can became rad like you.

Walk on sister!
