VERY GOOD POINT*

So probably much like Jason Philips, when i have nothing to do, i just LOVE to come here and read the blogs. And as much of you also know I have read up on the other Kaleo blogs as well (inturn, meeting some new ppl and making more friends). And well, if you remember one of my older posts, i was talking about how i went through some of the older posts from the start of this very blog. I found some very interesting things and it was also cool to see how much we have all changed.

But anyways, to get on with my story, I was reading through some of the very first posts EVER made by Kaleo students. Yes, i was checking out Kaleo 1's first blogs. I was reading through all the ones about Brittney, who you all know passed away in a tradgic car accident. And one of the posts that was written by Melissa Dotto caught my attention. About half way down the post, she mentioned that it was very unfortanate, but she was able to more easily cry for the death of Britt than she was able to cry for the death of Jesus. Britt passed away in a suuden car accident, Jesus was beaten half to death, forced to carry a cross up a hill, absolutly humiliated in front of thousands, and faced the turning of his fathers back!

I just find this incredibly shocking becuase so very often it is true. We as Christians mourn so much for the loss of loved ones, but how often do we remember Jesus' death??? (only during Easter???) And He died to bring us LIFE! Should we not be SO in Love with Him that when a loved one dies, we praise Him for the carrying out of God's very will in that person's life? And even when someone we do not love (or should i say, do not know), dies, should that not ignite a passion in us for the lost??? Heres the truth, do we care enough for those we do not know to earnstly interceed for them and pray that we can be the differance in thier life? How often do we look up to ourselves becuase we are saved by Grace? Grace has become an object to us, we take it all for granted! (Romans 12:3) And I for one, wanna be that person who weeps (as Jesus did in John 11) for those who are not saved, those who, to us, seems un-important.

I dont know how many of you did the passage in 1 John (4:7-12) for your Theology paper, but GOD LOVES US! Hey Marissa? And I am always fascinated when i read all of Psalm 139. God, who intamately crafted us, loves us so much that we cannot hide from His Love! Check out Hebrews 12:2, He is the Author and Perfector of our very Faith! Then, as i posted b4, read all of Hebrews 11...all about faith, i was surprised when I read all of it (before i only read the 1st verse)

So to close, I personally never knew Britt, but reading all the posts about her bring tears to my eyes! Why cant we all live more like that? Praise God for Britt and all her Joy she brought, her death is like the end of Kaleo, it was only the Begining!!! AMEN!!!

thanks so much for your thoughts on Britt. it is a good reminder for all of us to mourn Jesus' death just as much as we mourn our friends passing. Britt was an amazing woman of God and I look up to her, she inspires me to be better a person as much as that sounds silly.
