News From Nearly Everywhere

So cool to hear from a few of the Missions Teams today:

  • The New Orleans Team arrived a little behind schedule, but no worries - they are there and doing well. They are staying in a great place, a big old house that Moe, their new group leader, arranged for them. Today the plan was to go look at the city and get started. They are very excited and say it is pretty awesome.

  • Team Venezuela called to say that everything went smoothly – except a couple of suitcases that went astray and are supposed to arrive tonight – and they are enjoying warm and mostly sunny weather. Sounds like they have already realized how important it is to be there, and how appreciated they are by the local YFC workers.

  • The Mongolian Team still has a few more hours in the air as I write. Pray that they will be able to stay in a hotel - not the airport - during their 17-hour layover! That was still not confirmed when they left. Barring any more delays, they will arrive in Ulaanbataar on Wednesday at 11:35 AM (that's Tuesday 7:35 PM here).

  • Haven't heard yet from the Vancouver UGM Team, but see the post from Ucluelet below.

I'll keep you updated as reports come in!
