More From Mongolia

Jon writes: I hope that you are all doing well!!! We are having a great time here!! it has been very busy and challenging but God is really working in me... I think... We have been spending a lot of time with the MK's which has been SO amazing... they are an awesome group of young people so excited about God - it just blows the mind!! On Saturday night we went to the Golden Key Club in the Ger district... it is the poor part of town... and we worked with the young Mongolian kids there. They were a real blessing and encouragement to all of us... I sometimes think that the people here are doing more for me than I am for them... I pray that God is using me as well.

Today we took a bit of a break and went to the countryside with Marissa's family... it was SOOOO much fun... an AMAZING day... the scenery was beautiful, we got to hold a LARGE hunting hawk, ride a camel, play with baby goats and sheep, and ride horses... it was such a great day!! The one driver that we were with knew a family that lived in the middle of nowhere in a Ger... so he took us there and we got to see what real life looks like in Mongolia... it was so neat to have that opportunity. We also did a bit of shopping today and had dinner with some of the youth...

All in all it has been a great trip... I am also so glad to have a chance to connect with some of the people from Kaleo that I did not know as well... it has been a real blessing!!! Well I need to run... about to fall asleep... hope to hear from you all.
