Might Have Swam/Walked Faster, But God Is Good!

The Mongolia Team is... in Mongolia! Here's a note from Jen:

We are alive! We were able to get a 24 hour visa in Beijing, and after much debate were able to convince Air Canada to put us up in a hotel. The hotel was great and we were able to go to Tiananmen Square as well as the Forbidden City. Unfortunately they were both closed. However we were able to walk around for a bit. We arrived in Mongolia on time and are heading out at 9:00 am our time for the MK retreat. There are 35 students from the ages of 12-20 registered to come. Please pray that God will use us in the lives of these students.

And from Mikayla:

Hi there! I had a minute to jump on the computer... it has been going awesome so far... pray that it warms up though!!!! Tomorrow morning we are headed to the mountains for the retreat... Thank you so much for your prayers... they are much needed.

And from Jon:

We have finally arrived!!!! We ended up going through China and I had a few problems. When we landed and I went through passport control the officer had some problem with me. He held my passport for a while then made some special phone call. That was a bit unnerving since the rest of the team got through fine. Then the next day on the way out I smuggled out some pieces of rock since i am too cheap to buy a souvenir. That got me stopped again and they searched my bag. They ended up not finding it but i was a bit nervous!!! Anyways keep us in your prayers - we are leaving this morning to do a retreat with 35 MK's age 12-18 which I have been put in charge of running. Ulaanbataar is an interesting city!!!! Yesterday we did a bit of sightseeing and spent some time in the market. There we experienced the reality of this city being the capital of pickpocketing. No one lost anything but it reminded me of the bank commercial, "Hand in my pocket, hand in my pocket"... kinda funny!! Well I need to run... please stay in touch. Thanks so much for your prayers...

So everyone is in place now! May God accomplish everything he has on his agenda for Kaleo in the days ahead!
