An update from -40C

That's right, it is currently -40 degress Celsius in Sexsmith AB. Super super cold.

So it's super cold, but it's also super busy here too. We're 11 days from Youth Alert (like YQ), and there's a lot that needs to be done. Meanwhile, I'm taking 20 credits this semester (6 classes, 3 credits each, and two field eds), on top of careleading (like an RA?), worship leading, and playing soccer. I would be swamped if I didn't do homework over the break... of course, now I'm called a keener, haha.

I'm learning tons about leadership, commitment, and relationships these days... and no, not just the guy/girl relationships, although I have been learning about being content... I still have a ways to go on that one though. All in all, it has been an amazing year. I'm hoping to work at the daycare again this summer, and complete my internship requirement for my degree there. I then plan to return to PRBI for one final year of school, and I'll have a 4 year degree in Christian ministry. We'll just have to see why God wants me to have this degree.

I've been reminiscing about my relationships with you guys too, and I know I haven't done all too well to keep in touch with you guys. I hope to do better at that, but I also realize that I have a lot of commitments here, and that I've been sacrificing relationships at home and Kaleo relationships to further the relationships I have here. A lot of the guys here need those close relationships we had in Kaleo, so that's where I have put a lot of time and energy. I hope that doesn't feel like an excuse, but I have every confidence that all of you are creating new Kaleo-type relationships all the time. My prayers are definitely with you guys, and may God bless you as you pursue Him more and more!
