Random Personal Blog
It is weird to reflect on what Kaleo is like and how different we all are now. I was sitting in the Library yesterday trying to read and talk to Lindsay at the same time and we were both discussing how much different we are now. Kaleo is almost 3 years back and I think that in someways I forget a lot of what i was like and what it did. Anyway I guess I am doing this partly because I was reading the Kaleo 4 blog and my former roomate Viktor posted something really personal and it reminded me how we used to do that. It's funny i remember looking over the K2 and K1 blogs and thinking how lame they were because they only posted for big events like weddings or birthdays... I guess today I realized we are almost there.
I guess I'll start with Briercrest. I am really thankful to be here this year. Despite the weather and scenery it has actually been pretty sweet and I am finding that I am adjusting to the climate and even beginning to see the beauty of this place. The classes I'm taking are all amazing, I did fantastic last Semester gradewise but even more so in learning. One thing that has struck me lately is how i'm accumulating a lot of knowledge but how i often forget the reason for it. It is pretty crazy to remember that I'm taking Greek say, to understand God better because a lot of time i'm just focusing on learning Greek not how it can teach me more about God once I learn it better.
On another note some of you may have noticed that I said Viktor was my former roomate. This past Semester has been up and down and I think Viktor needed to move out for his own sanity. It was probably for the best but I was definitely taken off guard and a little upset that he didn't tell me how he felt before. I haven't really had a good chance to talk to him about it and that is really unhealthy because we are co-smallgroup leaders. So if you remember and could pray about that I'd appreciate it. But anyway as a plus i love having my own room. Not gonna lie Viktor was a slob and I'm even more neat and anal then Kaleo so it's nice to live in clean and tidiness again. I have also been challenged and encouraged by Justin Lenny quite a bit and that has been a huge blessing. The other day we talked about being disillusioned with your church and he just encouraged me to use the insights I have to pray and just what a privaledge God has given us to shape and build his Kingdom.
Anyway I guess my purpose in blogging was maybe just to encourage everyone just to do a real update, I mean I know Downey yo have been going through some tough times and stuff, and Teri i hear you're practically engaged, some people probably don't even know you have a boyfriend, Craymer?????? Where are you? Charis can probably talk about times with Josh for hours, Weaver I know you never read this but hey if by chance you do tell us how Married life is.
Funny side note for everyone I was telling my RA today about HAWS and you jerks... I hope you all feel bad inside.

Hey Haws totally know what you are feeling about kaleo stuff and all that. It's great to hear about you. I really miss hanging out with you and everyone who is out in caronport.... Seriously when you guys have some time to actually hang out.... let us know and we'll be there. I'll be praying for you buddy!
Thanks Charissa... This Semester is crazy but honestly anynight you come down except maybe Wednesdays if you give us some notice we can probably hangout.

see and this is the very reason i just checked the k3 blog for the third time in 2 years...to see if haws had dumped anything, and im glad he did. yes, viktor is a slob, yes many of us thought you two together was doomed from the start, and yes, you need to work it out cuz you two bros of mine better be cool so that i can laugh at how much you two can learn from each other.
