Why hello everyone. I thought that I should give you an update on how things are going for me. Well life is good. As most of you might know missions trips just ended so there is a load of work to be done in a small period of time to get ready for grad and the end of the the year. I really wonder where the year went, I would have to say it almost passed faster than our year. But life is good. I just got back from a trip to India, where we backpacked and prayed for the people and villages that we met along the way. I would have to say that is was quite a ride. I loved watcing God laugh at the fact that we could not speak each others language. He allowed us to speak with the language of love. It was so cool to see people completely open up to you just because you took an interest in them and wanted to hang out with them, play games, and get to know them. I have put up a few photo's from the trip but I as you guys know from last year photo's cannot explain what the experience was... neither can words for that matter, but het I tried. It was quite a hike. Once all was said and done we hiked 80-85 km in 6 days. I didn't think I could walk that far yet along with a pack but God is good. I cannot believe how well the group of studetns got along. We did a neat little thing where the students paired up and lead a day each. They were in charge of all that happened for the whole day of the hike. It was great to see how each group all had their own style of leadership and how it worked so well for that day.

Other things that happened on the trip that was great to watch in the interaction with our porters. It was so funny as when we stopped to pray 14 sets of eyes all watched us intently... they knew exactly what we were doing but they were still so curius to watch. Also seeing how the porters became part of our group. The first few days they would always shy away when we took picture of ourselves... but it seems that a snowball fight was the breaking point. After we had this fight with them it seemed that instead of shying away they got into every picture that they could. It was amazing to see... like I said the language of love... shown through a snowball fight.

Other news, well not to much... Summer is just around the corner and I cannot wait for it. I am starting to get really excited for summer here at Camp and I hope any of you that will be around will let me know so we can get together or at least do coffee once in a while. But that is about it from me. Hope to hear from you all soon.

Love ya lots
Brandon
