Whats that? Did you guys hear something? *GONG*

Sooooooo...its sure been a while since the last GONG post. So well, heres a story for you...

Once upon a time Jason and his father booked a flight to Toronto as a vacation to which he would enter into the home town of his best friend. Time passed on, minutes became hours and hours became days. But finally the time came for Jason's Goodbye party (which was also the night which he would be leaving on a jet plane, not knowing if he'd be back again). The party was exceptional. Youth showered me with thank yous and some tears were shed. It all strted with a pizza party which then turned into a few games such as Mafia, Chinese head Bangers and Ching Ching Chowey. All these were finished with some Veggietales and slurpees from Macs* As the night progressed Jason slowed things down abit and took everyone into the dark and lonly quarters of the old church basement. Once there he turened out all the lights and began to pray. Worship was amazing and the youth were in awe with thier creator. We worshipped in the dark and prayed for one another. Then it was time to say Goodbye to poor old Jason, who is almost 20! They prayed for his excitment to continue even though his teenage years would be long gone by the time they saw him next. He was surprisingly showeed with thnk you cards and a gift, a very special gift that Jason had never recieved before in his 19 years on this earth. One of the gals form his youth had slaved for hours to bake him a peach pie!!! With that being said, JASON had very quietly thnked this person for their AMAZING pie skills and even quietly-er e told her that it tasted better than his very own grandmothers peach pie* Another one of his youth had taken the time to handwrite a 5 page letter and thank you poem. But this was too much for Jason to handle so he had to make his way off to the airport. So after all the heartfelt hugs and tears were shed, Jason left with his father to finally be on his way to Toronto, where he would meet with his best friend. When Jason arrived @ the airport he had realized that he had made a rather large mistake and read the departure time wrong. So as he looked back on the time when his youth were praying over him at the church, he realized that that was actaully about the time when the plane was taking off!!!!

So I sit here on my home computer writing this blog to let everyone know that In 2 hrs I will be leaving for the Edmonton Itnl Airport to which (with double checked times and flight shcedules) I will be arriving in Toronto at about 8:20pm. And I will still be able to see Kirk before he leaves, though I cannot attend the Argo's game this evening :( Oh well maybe its becuase I couldnt handle the sorry loss to the french canadian team from Montreal...MU-hahahaha!!!!

Hope you enjoyed another Kaleo GONG presentation. I hope that all of you will continue to be able to laugh when situation like this happen to you! oh and dont forget to let us know*

Love from your (aging, old fart of a man) brother in Christ,

Jason :D
