Marriage
Hello everybody...
I have some exciting news. I didn't know how to tell all of you before this exciting event happened, but I wanted to call every one of you so that I could talk to you all, but now that I am back I just can't hold it in. As of July 17, 2006 Nick and Amanda Muik married in Edmonton then ran off to California, spending 5 days at disneyland, california adventure, universal studios and seaworld. We then went on a 4 day cruise to Mexico, then finished off with 2 days in Huntington beach. We got home last night and it was a very interesting trip. I don't want to say fabulous because if any of you have every flown with Air Canada (ahem, mongolia trip) you may understand why I say interesting instead of amazing. But all in all, the honeymoon went well. Nick's family flew out and my family drove up to see us get married, but the plan was to elope. I cannot believe I am finally married!! I can't believe that I have a husband!! Well, it's sounds kind of weird, I can believe I am married, but the official title of introducing Nick as my husband sounds a little different...but yahoo...it's so exciting.
More news...I have great news for those of you who are already in BC. Nick and I are leaving either tonight or tomorrow morning to drive out to BC and we are coming to camp!! I am not sure what the date will be but it will be sometime between August 2 and 5. We don't really have plans but we are just going to visit some friends and family in the lower mainland then heading to the island to see people at camp.
Oh and also, we are having a reception in Abbotsford labor day weekend and everyone is invited!! You will be getting more information on that either from Nick and I or Nick's mom. (I know that camp is really busy so if you are working at camp I know how it is and that's why Nick and I are coming out this week to visit you.)
I just wanted to post and say that I love you all and I cannot wait to come and see you guys in BC, and as for the rest of you I hope to see you in a month or so. I know it is extremely short notice as well....but if you can make it that'd be awesome!!
