THE RETURN OF THE HAWSANATOR
LOl well ok the titles really lame I know but i couldn't think of anything really good. So basically...(for Weaver) I got back on Wednesday from my two week long road trip and spiritual soujourn into the states. My dad and I had a really awesome time. It was really nice just to have a couple weeks to relax and chill. So first things first. The TRIP. We started off on Monday tyhe first and took thye ferry to Langley to stay with my aunt and uncle and get an early start the next day on our long 1000 km drive to whitefish. That was our loongest drive I think or maybe second longest. We started at about 5:30 in the morning our time and arrived at about 5:30 at night Mountain time at Weavers. That was an awesome time. Weaves took me on a short tour of the town. Its really nice up there. After we had a father son game of Frisbee golf in his back yard. The Haws' go their butts handed to them by the Weavers. Parker and Downey you better not be laughing right now I know exactly what your thinking. After It was a long and very boring few days drive accross the various prairie states including Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas and yeah... One of the cool stops we made along the way was in the black hills of South Dakota where we stopped to see Mt.Rushmore. It was actually a really cool place. There was a museum there and the actually Mountain was really sweet aswell. Finally we arrived in Dallas Texas. On the Sunday we went to Six flags over texas it was awesome. Texas is a super nice state. Unlike otyher theme parks I've been to in places like vancouver or California in our whole time at six flags we never heard a single person swear. Its super "Christian" in Texas. DOers anyone remember that Church that I think Cal was talking about which bought out a stadium and spent 92 million dollars renevating. Well I'm pretty sure I saw thst church or else some other mega church in Dallas. There were actually quite a few massive churcheds there. The next day we drove down to San Antonio and on our way we stopped at the state capitol in Austin another beautiful place. San Antonio was an amazing City. CLean and beautiful in its own way. We took a city tour and saw such sites as the Alamo and other spanish missions and the San Antonio rivcer walk. A beautiful oasis of gardens and stone walk weays that goes right through the middle of the city. The next day we drove down for a day trip to Corpus Christi which is on the gulf of Mexico. We swam in the ocean, which was amazingly warm, until I got stug by a jelly fish than we just sat in the sun.
After we left San Antonio we continued to El Paso, Which is right along the border with Mexico, and than on to Phoenix Arizona. In Phoenix we went to visit my great Uncle Richard who has elsheimers disease. it was really tough seeing him because he had always been such a active animated person in the past. In Pnoenix we ran intop car problems which sucked and instead of leaving Sunday Morning as planned we weren't able to leave till Monday at 4:30p.m. because both me and my dad were supposed to work on the thursday we booked it and drove through the night till about 2:30. WEe stopped and slept for a couple ours in the car at a truck stop and than at about 5:30 drov again. We really booked it that day and made it all the way from Utah to Pendinton Oregan which is about 50 miles or so from the border of washington. The next day we made it home.
The trip in itself was fun but there was something much more special. I was able to have some awesome casual talks with my dad. As some of you might remember at kaleo I said I wans't suire if my dad was a beleiver or not just becasue of some of the choices he makes. But I am now convinced that he is. I think hypocritical religion and stuff from his past has just put many road blocks in his life. if you could continue to pray that God would remove those road blacks and help my dad to trust in him that would be sweet.
In other news On Sunday Lampard came down to vic and Parker kirstan and a friend Nicole all chilled with him. It was pretty fun but some please tell him to shave. That thing he is trying to call a beard is horrid...sorry lampards... and finally becasue both Parker and I had the day off yesterday we went up to camp to visit the kaleoites there. They all seem a bit nuts now. Each one goin g alittle bit crazy. Jordan got a hear cut and looks like hee-man its awesome. So yeah that was cool. Ok I'm sorry this is so long. i'm not trying to step into Derksons territory. I promise i will not post for a long time. I love you all and miss you too. i hope that everyone else is having a great summer. In my case work has taken up most of my time but I'm getting opportunities to serve God this summer brought to me so thats pretty cool too. Ok I'm done

I love you Hawsy.... miss you lots.
Hey hey Haws! Good to hear how your trip went, I can feel your pain with the jellyfish, on the west coast of mainland Mexico where I went for a swim, I got stung by a lil blue jelly bout the size of small mouse. In mexico, those are the ones that kill children, and MAN, it put me out for about 3 hours!!! Anywhoo, one can say its ok to write long blogs, only if thye are actaully good all the way through, oh yeah and long comments are good too, but not this one cuz its mainly Derkson ranting about a frickin jelly-fish! so I'll end it like your blog...
ok Im done.
