I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER

Ok so here's what is going down. SO I went to the orthodontist today and he was all like you will not be getting your braces off at christmas which truly really made me want to punch him in the face. I was supposed to have my braces off before I came here, they are such a pain. Missing class and such to drive to Nanaimo for an appointment... it's such a burden. Please everyone who reads this pray that God will move my teeth so I am able to get my braces off at christmas. I want my smile back, the orthodontist may not be able to move teeth quickly but God can, please pray lots for this, God answers prayers and this one of the biggest desires of my heart now. Thank you everyone, this is greatly appreciated!

Hey Charissa!
Definetly be praying for you. I know how it feels, the same thing happened to me with my braces too. But man it feels awesome when they come off=)

um... I'm sure God will do his will so if that means your braces have to be on for life... then that's what God wants

Sorry - as I mentioned in chapel this morning, I disagree with Mr. Anonymous. If every circumstance is God's will for you, go to India and join the Hindu religion. And on your way stop the world 'cause I want to get off. Braces for life would be a tragedy, and not God's will for anybody. HOWEVER, it would be possible to thank God even in that circumstance. Why? Because he is faithful and is at work in everything - good and bad - to bring about the best interests of those he loves and calls by his name, and to show his glory. Sermon over - I couldn't help it.
