With Jesus

Brittany Fehr - a Kaleo student in 2003/04 - along with her brother Jordan and his girlfriend Jamie, were killed in a car accident between Winkler and Winnipeg on Sunday night. Brittany had just returned from a mission's trip in Mexico with her parents and others from her church. Jordan and Jamie were driving Britt to the airport so she could fly back to Canmore, where her and Amber were living and working.
There will be a Memorial for Brittany and the others at Camp Qwanoes on Saturday, March 5 at 2:00 PM in the chapel. From there we will go to the Guest House, where Brittany lived during Kaleo, and will plant a tree there in her memory. Ten of last year's students will be attending the funeral in Winkler, MB, which is also 2:00 PM Saturday. Most of the other students plan to be here for the Memorial. May these be wonderful celebrations of Brittany's life, and that of Jordan and Jamie.
Even as I see the words on the screen I have a hard time believing that someone so incredibly full of life could have been taken by death. But then I know that she's more alive now than she ever has been! Just imagine Brittany's face as she sings praise and worship with the angels! And the awards ceremony that must be taking place because of all the heavenly jewels she has stored up.
She will be greatly missed by all of those she left behind, but if I know Brittany, I know if she were here she would be praying and celebrating and giving all the glory to God.
So it would be great if we could all come together to pray for:
-Britt and Jordan's parents, Ralph and Jocelyn Fehr
-Britt's sister and brother-in-law, Kristin and Kevin, who are missionaries in Africa and can't be physically close to their grieving family
-All the lives that Britt, Jordan and Jamie were part of. That through their deaths people's lives would change and there would be people coming closer to Christ.
We miss you, Brittany.
