News from PRBI

Hey guys, it's been a while, I saw lots of you at Matt's wedding, but there's even a lot of new stuff since. So for all who are interested, allow me to update you. :)

So during the summer I worked a few jobs in the first month, until finally settling with an awesome job at a Christian daycare. The kids loved me, I loved the kids, and it's crazy to leave them after 3 months (unlike kids at camp where you usually only see them for one week a year). I got super-blessed with that job because it paid well, I got lots of breaks and didn't get burned out, and I have future employment there in the winter and next summer.

Now I'm at PRBI, and I've taken on a handful. I cut back my credits from 19 (each semester last year) to 15, but now I'm worship leading at church and college, care-leading (I believe it's called 'RA' at BridalQuest) and playing soccer. Not only that, but because I'm in leadership, I automatically get signed up for a LOT of school events, like Water-Ballon Mania (we used to hold a Guiness World Record for the water-balloon fight), Youth Alert/YA (think YQ), Freshman Banquet and the like. So I've definitely been keeping busy, but also stretching and learning from God. I haven't found my calling, but God is carrying me through step-by-step, and I'm in no hurry to forsee the plans He has for me (I probably wouldn't be able to handle knowing anyway).
So that's my update, I'd love to hear everyone else's! I heart you guys, and I'm prayin for you all. I'm overjoyed to hear about Kirk's fiancee and Amanda's calling, hope to hear from you guys soon.

P.S. Jim, I met someone you may know... David Bloomfield registered and got accepted to PRBI in almost no time at all. He was accepted to go to Kaleo, but Briercrest rejected him due to Fiji's Grade 12 requirements, or something like that. It was awesome to meet him and hopefully I can give him a piece of Kaleo this year. Oh, and your book is the course text for our course Intro to Camping, or something like that. I thought it was cool.
