Materialism at its best

Hey Everyone!

I felt it was about time to update you guys on how I am and what I am doing. About a month ago I returned home from PRBI, after taking 19-credit hours per semester, along with playing soccer and working 16 hours a week (21 if you include PWE). Last weekend I went to History Makers (Chilliwack), and I've done a few other fun things around here with friends like going to the climbing gym, and frisbee golf.

I got a job right away at this restaurant/pub called MVPs, but a couple weeks ago I got fired because I 'wasn't fast enough'... which was wierd, cause I was already faster than some previously employed workers, but oh well.

It gave room for a new full time job with... (drum roll) Budget! Not the brake and muffler guys, but the car rental service. I'm loving my new job as Service Representative, as I get to detail new cars, then drive them around town. These are nice cars... just today I drove around in a fully loaded 2007 Volkswagon Touareg V8, priced at $60,000! I've also driven some massive trucks (not the 5-ton yet though), and some other sweet cars like the Impala, Fusion, Explorer, etc. I work 4 10-hour days each week, and it feels like 5 hours! I love driving...

Update: We just got a couple of new Mustang convertables... all the employees are looking forward to driving those around. :D

And only working 4 days gave me room for another job, so I'll shortly be working at the Christian book store here. That should be fun, and I might get some cool benefits.

I'll be returning to PRBI in September, this time as a worship leader and care leader (basically, leadership). It should be a stretching but awesome year. Oh, and I didn't get a girlfriend yet (did I last longer than you Jason D?), but I'm ok with that. To everyone who is shacking up... jk, getting married is what I meant to say... I give my best wishes and prayer. I can't attend any weddings this summer (besides, I couldn't say yes to one and say no to the other ten or so), but I wish I could share in that great happy moment with each of you. To the rest of Kaleo, have an awesome, single, summer!
