You're listening to... Q-Rok!!

Haha, that's the greeting I've gotten almost every morning for the past two weeks. Now we're all preparing for that greeting for yet another week. Hmm... where did I leave off. The counselors still need praying for, rest and health being the main requests. For a praise item... BRADY'S BACK! Not only that... we're counseling together this week! This junior's camp is age 9-11, so we'll see how it goes. Keep praying for Brady, because this is really a trial week. Pray for safety, strength and perseverence as Brady finds out this week whether he'll be able to counsel more.

Hmm, what else... Oh, it's my Birthday today! Yes, I got thrown up and down, and yes, I hit the roof, and no, I didn't get to shower after handling all those kids... in other words, my nasty handprints are still on the ceiling of the Fireside Lounge, haha. I also went to BP's with Phil, Hepting, Jordan, Tara, Elise (Scott's sister), Ally, and Ally's sister (Alicia). I'm joking of course, Alicia isn't Ally's sister... but they are good friends. After BP, we went to DQ and got free Blizzards... now I'm stuffed.

This past week was a really tough week for myself and Danny Badke (my junior). We had half good kids, half... evil... yes... it was a tough week. There were times I caught myself wondering why there was even a junior's camp... but now I'm sad they're gone, especially the one who was the biggest troublemaker ever. He made quite a few BREAKTHROUGHs this week, learning how to apologize and forgive, and learning how to kinder to people. It was tough the whole week, but I think he's going home a changed guy. I got the "Dancer Runner-Up" award this week because of my patience with this guy... not wanting to brag, just tellin you guys that this was a really tough guy. About half the staff knew this guy by the end of the week... and it wasn't cause of his good looks.

But yeah... we're prepping for yet another week of kids, and a whole ton of new breakthroughs. Please be praying... and keep posting your prayer requests on! They're not going unnoticed by us, that's for sure. Stay strong,

Jason Phillips
