DERKSON IS IN!!!

Why hello friends, family and all else gathered here tonight! My name is Jasonia Larryella Derksonette...its a pleasure to greet all of you! I wish for you all to know that life is freaking awesome here @ home..this weekend was our churches 25th anniversary and Grand opening of our new building! we had our first service in the new sanctuary this morning, followed by a BBQ and then a dedication service @ 3! I played on the worship team and had a blast...the buliding is so nice and i hope to be posting pictures soon! Man i am having such a sweet time here yet to be honest, i think i am women enough to admit that ive been crying for all you guys (and girls..lol) and its ok for guys to do that. Funny though how i am now at a place in my life where friendships are amazing, yet God overpowers it all and is all i wanna live for! I've been really realizing how much its true that God is ALL you need!!! I take a look @ Kaleo and see how busted i am for missing you guys and then hear stories this weekend of our very first pastor who was here back in '70-summin? and he Graduated from Briercrest at 21 and began to pastor out here...at 27, his wife, son Jamie (3) and daughter Charlene(2) passed instantly in a car crash on the way home from the city. He is now remarried and has 2 other children, one finishing her 3rd year @ Briercrest and the other a Pastor in Manitoba @ 22 yrs old. And today he spoke in the new sanctary and publically thanked God for what happenend, all that crap made him the man he is today, married and still pastoring! So many other stories like that where these ppl come to point in thier lives where they acknowledge that God is above all else and he does EVERYTHING for His own purposes! And thats where i am at this very point in front of this very computer! I am sitting here in mixed emotion but over whelmed at what God is doing through us Kaleo students. I pray for you guys with passion, all the time, i love you, or should i say 'heart' you all! God is going to use you all when you least expect it...please pray for me also as i continue in my walk with God. Briercrest this fall!!! and after 3 yrs? Well, God only knows. Maybe even a pastor!
Well i been blabberin on too long now so i'll leave ya with a lil note of encouragement...please read Hebrews 11, read it slowly, then read it again...WOW!
