Matt Downey

Hey everybody! Just writing in to introduce myself. As the title says my name is Matt Downey. I'm 18 and live in Nanaimo BC. I graduated in spring '04 and have spent the last year at Columbia Bible College working towards a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Worship Arts. My passion is worship! I love music in all forms. The reason I've decided to do Kaleo after just finishing my first year at CBC is that I am looking for a year of spiritual growth rather then strictly academics. Don't get me wrong, CBC is an awesome school and I look forward to returning there after Kaleo. I just want something a bit different for a year. In a few weeks I'll be heading down to Qwanoes for a summer of Senior Counseling! This will be my fourth summer down there and I'm super stoked for it! Every year God has big surprises in store for me. Well I better get going but I cannot wait to meet all of you guys! Is anyone going to be at Qwanoes for this summer? Hope everyone's having a great week! And Jim, if that's what a sabbatical looks like, I can't wait for the ministry life :)
